GENERAL INFORMATION
Holland House Beach Hotel is located on the Great Bay beach and offers 54 guest rooms and suites.
All rooms have just been refurbished and redesigned by renowned architect Johannes Zingerlee and French Indies design from St. Barths bringing a European chic and Caribbean flair.
Holland House Beach Hotel is also in the middle of the duty free shopping area of Philipsburg with shops as Cartier and  Little Switzerland, Colombian emeralds and many electronic, clothing and local artifact shops.

Ocean Lounge Restaurant
The newly renovated restaurant of the Holland House is called the Ocean Lounge restaurant and bar, Food and Beverage.
Manager Sybolt Ten Hoopen  and Chef Ricardo Niels, both from Holland, guarantee a great breakfast, lunch or dining experience.
Chef Ricardo works with local products from the Islands as well as fresh seafood and produce flown in twice weekly from Europe.

The Beach
When you check out the map you see that we are located in Philipsburg. The beach is therefore on the great bay. Have a look on Google earth and you see a big white sand beach with blue umbrellas. Need some action. Just slip in the flip flops and have a short stroll. Its all within walking distance.

The Lounge
Whether you fancy an Cuban mojitto or Sint Maarten Guavaberry colada, the bar staff will create you any drink you like while you relax on the tunes of Caribbean reggae or European lounge...

Front Desk Services
The friendly girls will assist you with anything you need to find on the island and will help you with any question on the Hotel. They can arrange car rentals, excursion to other islands and point you to intimate Caribbean restaurants. They are happy to assist you with reconfirming your flight and to arrange a taxi for drop of or pick up.

Unwind on this perfect location right on the beach. 20 minutes from the airport.
Your beach chairs are waiting- along with some of the most gracious service on the Island. When you're ready for some action, all of quaint Philipsburg's exclusive shops, and its many cafes and restaurants are within walking distance of the Hotel.

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Hotel Rental Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.

For all reservations
-A 15% downpayment will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
-The balance is due at the moment of check in.
-Please note that the hotel does not accept American Express, therefore a visa or a mastercard will have to be provided upon reservation as a guarantee.

Cancellation Policy
-If cancellation is received 5 days or more prior to arrival, then the 15% downpayment will be lost.
-If a cancellation is received 4 days or less prior to arrival, then an additional 2 nights penalty fee will apply.
-No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.

Children Policy
-Cribs are available on request free of charge.
-Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults.
-Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.

Liability
Internet Hotel Rental Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Hotel Rental Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. A submitted reservation request is indicative of the tourist agreement to the above conditions.
 

General Terms & Conditions

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.

Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.

Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).

Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.

Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.
Please check the specific terms & conditions for each hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.

Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.

Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.

Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

Special offers and Value Added Extras
All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.

General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
