GENERAL INFORMATION
The Pasanggrahan (which means guesthouse in Indonesian) Royal Guest House is St. Maarten's oldest and most charming inn. Formerly the Governor's home, a V.I.P. guest house, and royal residence, it is ideally located in Philipsburg on a white sand beach amidst enchanting tropical gardens. Secluded and offbeat, it is yet only a minutes stroll to shops, restaurants, casinos and other activities.

This authentic, colonial-style inn has all the special features of a larger hotel including personal service, ceiling fans, the Sidney Greenstreet Bar, seaside dining, manager's cocktails, complementary chairs lounges, beach towels, and afternoon tea. A special place for special people.

Restaurant and Bars
At the Pasanggrahan Restaurant you can dine in our seaside gazebo with the Caribbean Sea at your feet. The Pasanggrahan Restaurant is open 7 days a week. Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m until 11:30 p.m. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m until 3:00 p.m. Dinner is served from 6:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m. Daily Specials always include fresh fish, caught by our own deep-sea charter fishing boat Prowler, and lobster (market price) is a house specialty. Try the family- style dinners, which include soup or salad, and a choice of pork chop a la Pasanggrahan, Pan fried calamari steak, Lamb shank, Yankee pot roast or homemade meatloaf. Vegetarian meals are always available. Local favorites include, rack of lamb, Black Angus steaks, beef Stroganoff and Veal picatta. The Pasanggrahan Royal Guest House has two bars on the premises.While you are relaxing on the beach, the beach bar is close by to serve you the necessary refreshments. Janet, our bartender, specializes in frozen drinks and makes the best Pina Colada on the island. During the evening, she will open the Sidney Greenstreet Bar, where you can enjoy a nice aperitif or an after dinner drink while enjoying social cocktail hour. The Beach Bar is open from 11:00 a.m until 9:00 p.m during the winter and from 11:00 a.m until 8:00 p.m during the summer. The Sydney Greenstreet Bar opens from 6:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m all year long.
The Beach

The Pasanggrahan Royal Inn is located right on the beach of Great Bay. Complimentary beach chair lounges, parasols and beach towels are available for our guests.

Standard Rooms
They are situated in the east wing toward the mountain side and close to the marina. Each room is furnished with plantation-style furniture with mosquito netting, air-conditioning, ceiling- fan, private bathroom, Cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, shared balcony or porch with an ocean-view of Great Bay.

Deluxe Rooms
They are located on the beach level and second floor of the newly completed west wing. Each room is furnished with plantation-style furniture with mosquito netting, air-conditioning, ceiling- fan, private bathroom, Cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, private balcony or porch with an ocean-view of Great Bay.

Specialty Rooms
They are situated on the top floor of the west wing. Each room features a vaulted ceiling as well as antique furniture with mosquito netting, air-conditioning, ceiling- fan, private bathroom, Cable TV, refrigerator, telephone, and a private balcony with a spectacular view of the whole Great Bay area.

Queen Room
Queen Juliana of Holland has stayed in the Queen's room. The royal room was moved upstairs and is the only room in the main building with its own secluded balcony. The Queen's Room is furnished with authentic antique furniture including an original four poster bed. It is a very popular room for government officials and honeymooners.

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.

For all reservations 
• A 20% downpayment will be charged at the moment of confirmation. 
• The balance is due at the moment of check in. 
• Please note that the hotel does not accept American Express, therefore a visa or a mastercard will have to be provided upon reservation as a guarantee.

Cancellation Policy
 
In Winter (between December 15th to April 15th)
• If cancellation is received 31 days or more prior to arrival, then the 20% downpayment will be lost. 
• If a cancellation is received 30 days or less prior to arrival, then an additional three nights will apply as a penalty fee.
• No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
 • No refunds for early departures.

In Summer (the rest of the year)
• If cancellation is received 15 days or more prior to arrival, then the 20% downpayment will be lost. 
• If a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to arrival, then an additional two nights will apply as a penalty fee.
• No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
 • No refunds for early departures.

Children Policy 
• Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults. 
• Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.

Liability
Internet Travel Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Travel Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. A submitted reservation request is indicative of the tourist agreement to the above conditions.
 

General Terms & Conditions

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.

Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.

Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).

Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.

Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.
Please check the specific terms & conditions for each hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.

Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.

Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.

Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

Special offers and Value Added Extras
All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.

General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
