Boat Tour - Beach & Snorkel with Caribbean Lunch from Simpson Bay Activity - St Martin/St. Maarten Travel Guide

First off let me start out by saying how beautiful Anguilla is!! its absolutely breath taking. I am so happy I chose this tour, the other tour was sold out so I ended up choosing this one. I wasn't going to choose this one because the port fee was not included, however I only ended up spending 13 as oppose to the listed 20 fee. The tour started out at the Anguilla Ferry terminal Simpson's bay, we took a speed boat to Anguilla which was less than 30 mins, they served delicious Rum punch and assorted beverages. The workers on the speed boat was really nice. We docked in Anguilla got off the boat, and went through immigration where they stamped our passports. We exited the terminal and out tour guide Kerry-ann was waiting for us. We got on a juta tour bus, it was a little small but our crowd was not that big, it was 18 of us. The bus had AC, so it was pretty comfortable. Kerry ann was so pleasant and calm. She gave us an awesome tour of the beautiful island of Anguilla. It took us about 25 minutes the tour, to get to the final destination which was shoal beach at sunset beach it was so amazing we got there about 1030 am. They greeted us with ice cold water, and a beautiful beach :-. Lunch was served at 12 noon on the dot, I tried the national dish, red snapper peas and rice and curry goat with peas and rice I didnt eat all of this my boyfriend was with me. I couldn't go all the way to Anguilla to eat burgers and fries! I was not having that. At lunch the tour guide Kerry ann walked around and mingled with everyone, she was extremely sweet! and very observant. I like that she was very attentive and open to spark up a conversation. After lunch, we snorkeled and later on paddle board with the equipment that was provided which was also included in the tour. Kerry ann brother Keyshawn was very nice as well he helped us with the snorkeling. They also had hammocks available, I slept in one for almost 2 hours. This tour is well worth it!!!! they had a bar, you are held responsible for your drinks and also a 5 for the umbrellas while being on the beach, you will need it. Anguilla was the highlight of our trip to st Maarten, i will definitely return. THIS TOUR IS A MUST! take a look at the pics!

Not enough words to review this trip. Our tour guide was cool and informative, Gwen the owner of the beach bar and restaurant was cool, everybody was cool. Anguilla in itself is beautiful and the food at Gwen's was delicious. Perfect day trip for relaxing and enjoying a piece of Anguilla! Highly recommend!

Everything went as advertised. Everyone was very polite, the guide was very knowledgeable and very nice. The bus was clean, the driver kind and careful. At the beach we had a great time snorkeling, paddle boarding. The water is absolutely clear and beautiful. The food was tasty and everyone was very kind and helpful. My kids and I loved the day trip and plan to stay in Anguilla overnight next time. Highly recommend the tour

It is essentially a day at the beach. The Tour is just a chat on the way to the beach and on the way back.It may be that there is little else to see but do not know. The day at the beach was fine we had shade, equipment and access to buy drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, lunch was good and we had a bit more fun near the end with the band playing . A nice outing just setting expectations would have set the tone better.
